I know this is really lame. But at the District -- a nice shopping / restaurant area in Green Valley Ranch area, they now have solar powered trash compactors. This picture was taken from a camera phone.

Hey, it's not lame -- it's a sign of the greening of Las Vegas :-)
I think more places should be doing things like this. Hurray for LV for seeing the possibilities!
